I work with youth and adults who seek support in the midst of transition, seasons of grief and loss, or who are struggling to meet the challenges of life.

If you are going through a difficult time, it can be hard to find strength, maintain perspective, regulate your emotions, or keep moving forward.  Anxiety, panic, depression, and grief are common--and treatable. I work with people struggling to understand who they are, who are discerning a next step, or who need support to cope through a significant loss or life transition.  The most important and beautiful new growth always starts in the dark when you feel like hope is lost.

Hello! It's nice to meet you.

My name is Jessie Larkins and like you, I come to this work still in process and preparing myself to receive the next challenging--and beautiful--thing that will emerge in my life. My great joy is creating a safe space to meet others in their place of overwhelm or despair, listening well, and being a companion as people grow and heal.  We heal in community, and by facing (rather than avoiding) the intensity of our inner and outer experiences. I love working with young people who are just figuring out who they are and how to navigate our world, and with adults wondering what to do next because the answers that used to fit don't any longer.  I am trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and actively anti-racist. I am so glad you landed at Emergent and look forward to walking with you.
